I struggle with how to introduce my daughter to basic mathematics concepts yet not subvert the teaching she's exposed to. I made the mistake of revealing my expectations of when I want her exposed to calculus to her pre-school teachers. Needless to say their goal to have the kids counting and recognizing numbers 1 to 100 didn't impress me. Hopefully I didn't set the kid up for backlash:). I can’t agree more dude.
