The tags normally show up only in your atom feed (add “atom” to the end of the URL you provided) since that’s where Technorati tries to pick them up. I can now see your tags listed in the feed, although they have yet to show up on Technorati. Did you enable the plugin before or after you made that post? Your categories are indeed showing up on Technorati, so it’s not the problem I mentioned earlier (enter your site’s URL to see what they’ve indexed).

As for not displaying tag links, if you don’t add the template tags for this plugin, then the only place the links will show up is your Atom feed. Mission accomplished.

jerome, much thanks for the reply. How do you check the indexing of my site on technoratoi to see the 62 days? I’ve claimed my blog, and according to my technorati profile I still have it. Haven’t moved servers/urls too recently (a month or three ago). My posts show up under the tags that correspond to my WP categories.

Much thanks for the offer of support on your plugin, I’ll take you up on it. To be specific, what I’m looking for is a way to tag my posts without linking to anything, even my own site.

Technorati doesn’t seem to be indexing your site (it’s showing your last update at 62 days ago). Did you remove your link to Technorati that includes your site’s ID? Have you moved servers/URLs recently?

You don’t have to link your tags to Technorati at all. In fact, I specifically set the plugin’s default to *not* link directly to Technorati, but to create a local tag search. If you have any problems with my plugin, please let me know and I’d be happy to help you out.
