A friend recommended On Intelligence by Jeff Hawkins. I’m about 1/2 way thru, but I can already say it’s a must read if you’re interested in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The compelling thing is not that Jeff has a million new brilliant insights; it’s that he takes the myriad ideas out there and puts them into a single cohesive framework. The same ideas, looked at from a different, unifying perspective, along with new prioritization, take you to a significantly better understanding.
