Comment Spam! Be Gone

I got some comment spam. Great.

I was about to setup a captcha, but stumbled across lr2spam. This is obnoxiously easy to install, so I’m giving it a go. Please post a comment here if you run into any problems posting comments.

    Welcome to the club. I’ve found that domain sifting algorithms like MT-Blacklist work well, but I’ve also heard good things about the hidden-field blockers.

    Now if all the spammers would just give up, go away and stop filling up my server logs, that would be greeeat…

    I wonder if your plugin did help you fighting with spam. I persoanlly use ASKIMET and I find it sufficient

    I ended up switching to Akismet and it’s worked great.
